Diagnose a pest problem using the ‘Identify a Pest’ tool on the PlantwisePlus Knowledge Bank. Are you unable to identify the symptoms on a crop? Use the diagnostic tool and content results to help.
To use the tool, follow these steps:
- Choose your country or region of interest using the drop-down menus.
- Begin typing in your crop or host species name and then select it from the drop-down menu. Click the ‘Next’ button to continue.
- Select the main part of the plant which is affected (e.g. fruit).
- Then, select the type of problem, if you know it, or select ‘Not sure’.
- A list of potential pests or diseases which fit your description will appear. Select an image in the results page to access the relevant Technical Factsheets to find out more information.
